What happened since then?

a new life with someone..

challenging yet enjoying work..

first christmas that i felt fulfilled and contented.

didnt have any fireworks related accident.hahaha

eating healthy everyday.. 

f1 season started which i only monitor online(dont have time for live tv coverage)..

Well,a good oppurtunity has come on my way again.I just do hope this will last because i really do enjoy the work..constant movements,aiming at the target in successions,bang bang bang…rapid firing! its sychronized.haha

It’s regarding the israel/hezbollah conflict which many say a victory for hezbollah as they resisted the israeli offensive for more than a month.The look on thier faces is very funny,i really smell thier fears of attacking iran…hahaha

Filming the music.

Well,that would be the best thing for me.I love movies and music very much,and that’s 2 more reasons not to give up hopes in this cruel,wild world..hahaha.Recently,i aquired a dvd of Stephen Herek’s film “mr. holland’s opus” which stars the oscar winning actor richard dreyfuss(was nominated again for best actor in this film but lost to nicolas cage for leaving las vegas).As the movie goes on,the story is quite predictable yet still very interesting as the character is finding his purpose and his music.Near-ending scenes are unforgettable.To me its not good as milos forman’s amadeus or bernard rose’s immortal beloved(for me the two masterpeices in this category).I can compare it to the chorus which is probably in the same level of film-making with mr. holland’s opus.Simple execution,dramatic powerful acting and a good plot.It will leave you teary eyed yet on a happy note.haha.The movie’s music is also great done by the late micheal kamen.

A really worthy movie for your time!

Well,the hondaf1 team’s former cigarette sponsor  should be a good title because Jenson Button gained his first ever win on his 113th race of his career at the rain drenched hungarian grand prix(Sunday).The new HondaF1 works team is very glad for its first ever win this year bringing up their standings to further challenge the other front runners for the championship.Teammate Rubens Barrichello also snatched some points for his 4th place finish..I hope jenson would be the next Nigel Mansell of f1.Congrats to the drivers and the honda team,keep the wins coming!hahaha





Someday,i will watch a live f1 race,visit the team’s garages,meet the drivers and have a test drive?hahaha(Dreaming).

of thoughts..

Its been a while..A lot of developments going on.A lot of restless nights though its very much enjoyable.haha.Its getting very clear what should i pursue for the rest of my life.

On the lighter side(well atleast for me),im much interested in the middle east conflict.Watching Cnn and BBC always excites me.Again the battle going on with israel and hezbollah is a muslim-christian war.Its Russian weapons vs. American weapons.Its Russian black market business vs. the obvious war business of US.Same old,same old..It’s very intriguing how this will end or how this war will expand(Iran or syria).Just my views.hehe.And oh,if anyone needs a photographer to shoot for israel,iraq or lebanon.Just give me 2 dslrs with wireless transfers,shock proof portable hard drives,a macbook pro,a bagful of lenses and a plane ticket.haha.


I think its very enjoyable to dodge bullets,cover for bombs and rockets with you handling a gun of vision and experiencing a war. The benefit is telling the stories,showing your photos and share experiences afterwards.that is if you are still alive to do so.hehe

A Thousand years

After almost 6 years of no follow-ups,writer-director Darren Aronofsky(one of my favorites) will be releasing(finally!) his challenged filled film called “The Fountain” sometime this year.The film’s plot will feature three parallel stories of love,life and death in 3 different timelines spanning a thousand years.This will be not a typical movie as Aronofsky’s vision and writing style is out of this world yet deeply emotional..After the claustraphobic paranoid mathematecian searhed the answers of his questions of life through calculations and shattering the dreams of the delusional drugged family and friends,he will try to recreate a myth coupled the with the complexities and emotions that makes us human in 3 different perspectives and time with this new film.

Back to “The Fountain”,I hope it will be an eye opener for all the viewers like he did on PI and REQUIEM FOR A DREAM.This movie will also feature music from Clint Mansell(a comeback with the director).Im gonna watch this definitely.lol

 


 

 

 

Time

I have been a collector of online screenplays and scripts.Analyzing them and the movie itself is a differs in perspective,and to many people(so confessed movie buffs who only sees the IN movies)dont seem to get the idea of why some movies are just full of dialogs and tends to be boring(not for me!).Oh well,just want to share a quote from a movie that really inspires me in some way the moment i watched it a few years back.The scene where the words( quote below) was said is a revealing and realizing part of the story.Its a perfect scene for me,simple yet very emotional & powerful.Why this Quote? I can apply it on my daily life.haha.I also have to admit i can re-act the scene with these words..haha

All is going well now,the oppurtunities,new friends and aquiantances,more realizations..

I do however wish to go back to the days.The one on one lunch,sweet nothings,wake up calls,a familiar voice,the cute out of the bed look,a simple someone..

All is going well.all has changed,I changed..

I do however wish to go back,back to the days.Where everything is somewhat blank yet full..The times when i was half empty,and one will fill the other half of me.I wish to go back,so i can stop staring at the smiles,listening to the cheery voices,looking at the frowns(of others) and dreaming while im awake.

In life,they said that you can never get the best of both worlds,never too happy nor too sad.

This is a proof.This is a proof of life..Im not that happy nor too sad.
 
There is so much we can do yet too much is never enough.It is the way of living.

The 5th toy conference held at megatrade hall was a success..Did some fun shots there and later witnessing how amazed people watching the performance of fuseboxx..I really hope they would support the band,buy the album and visit the website…lol

I.PH is doing the laundry(With AJAX!)

First previewed in iblog2,i.ph is now transferring our databases/accounts to the new version which is primarily enhanced with AJAX programming..I couldn’t wait to try it out for myself.hahaha..To the i.ph staff and members thanks for doing the laundry(with AJAX) for us!

Freedom!!!

Evening of may 31 till early morning of june 1,we witnessed the last bands that played in freedom bar(currently/officially closed).The place itself is an institution of underground and indiependent(not the acting as indie) musicians,some groups who started there are now enjoying the fruitfulness of fame.Too bad…too  bad..Though the legacy and hope that the place had brought will be in the history.

A year in the life..

Things are better now these days.But would you think it might have  been way better  if someone is right by my side?..About this time minus a year,things did ultimately changed my life as series of unfortunate events happened to me(also triggered me to have an output,this blog.)..It really did affect me and shaken my foundations as a person,questioning the questions of life and literally isolating myself from the outside world(Specially with girls)..haha..Now,So much for the lonely,crying to sleep nights..It would be really better for me to put a stop on my own silent misery.I just do hope that someone out there has the courage of laying an arm for someone like me,help me to see the window to the world again.Maybe i should google that someone and get some results.hahaha.

To her,I just would like to thank you for all,the cheers,the years and dreams we had shared.Remember that we could close our eyes,we could turn away,but we will never forget.

This poem(below),although a little bit revised by me,is from a movie that had been stuck on my mind the very moment i first watched it(13 yrs ago).The scene where the character said these words was very moving yet it was a letting go kind of thing and let’s you think there was a reason for everything that had happened,you just have to open your eyes to appreciate the positive outcomes of it.. : ) Now,i would like to do the same thing..haha

SM=Super Monopoly! : )

We were at the opening of one of the asia’s largest and the country’s largest mall,The SM Mall of Asia.Had the chance to take some photos of this achievement in our infrastructure and business history..SM should now stand for Sy’s Super Monopoly prime holdings.Calling the Ayalas and Gokongweis,can you counter the monopoly of sy?.lol.Also doing a research of who are involved in the construction(locaL contractors) of this architechtural wonder,gonna ask them how much is thier kickback!hahahaha..

Some Facts you cant read on newspapers:

-Real target people of this mall are the ones who just came from and will go to the airport..SM can now say “Duty free what?”..lol. 

-Originally it should be opening last november 2005 though some cracks were found on its foundations and pillars..haha. I hope the months delayed is really worth it.

-The IMAX theather will have you blown away with great cinema experience.Besides the awesome gigantic screen and surround sound,the seats also feature a secret,you have to find it out for yourself! : ).SM had a consortium with San Miguel/Coca-Cola to put the country’s first and only imax.Though movies(all kinds) that will be shown here will have cuts because of the limitations of an imax projector(specifically the bulb) that can only withstand 120 minutes of continous operation.That’s why they never played epic movies in imax.

-The mall is located in an artificial land..So dont be suprised,someday when an earthquake comes it could split up with pasay city and be called “SM island” hahaha.(just my sadistic theory!lol)

Thier tagline “We got it all for you” lives up to itself.So if you have time do come here with friends or family it will be a long enjoyable walk.Special weekly activities and programs will be regular there.

I do really love the architechture and the sheer size of it! So here are the photos…

I’m currently in quezon,pahiyas festival to be exact.Yesterday was a gloomy day,but it is much better now and we are hoping tommorrow to be a sunny day!.Gonna be out for now,kodak-ing Quezon! updates soon..haha

Didnt have much to do these past days so im posting some of the upcoming movies that i’m excited about..

Superman Returns.Iv’e been looking forward to see it ever since the first production diary came out on the net mid last year.Like Peter Jackson did on king kong,director Bryan Singer(Apt pupil,X-men,X-MenII etc) will show to the world how a lifelong fan’s vision is different in creating a movie rather than just basing on it’s script and visuals.Another thing interesting about this one is it’s musical score,John Ottman together with the hollywood studio symphony will recreate one of the finest peices in movie music originally created by 5 time academy award winner John Williams.I hope the movie and music will live up to the expectations of moviegoers.It will be released on june 30th 2006 worldwide.Here are some captures from the official trailer.

Casino Royale.The newest james bond film unleashes it’s official site and a teaser trailer something that made me more excited.Action packed scenes is a trademark of these bond films though to me it is more of that.It is one(maybe only) of the movies that manufacturers and brands are craving to get thier products to be involved with the james bond name.A spectacle of marketing also.Example,The new car for the upcoming movie is a new Aston Martin DBS(no specs yet) and Omega watches recently released a limited edition 007 watch called “seamaster”.Probably soon,a mobile company will announce a james bond affiliated phone.Talking about rich men’s toys here!whew!This movie will be released november 2006(coincedentally with the release of Playstation 3!)

World Trade Center.A not so for the mainstream viewers as it is directed by Oliver Stone(one of the most profound directors of our time and im a fan of his!).The story about the september 11 attacks though more than deep than flight 93(another 9/11 related film) because stone knows the U.S. government,the corruption,the consipracy and everything between it..Expect this movie to be controversial and im gonna watch this!!

Peaceful Warrior.Based on Dan Millman’s novel.This movie will attempt to inspire as many have been through millman’s book.Victor Salva(Powder) directed this one.I really don’t expect it to reach our shores because MTRCB and the Big malls are biased to those movies that are sure they will benefit from.haha.I guess,im gonna list it on my dvd wishlist!
