coming of age..?

Earlier today,i was busy searching for a program that would match the proposed one..i did find some,but im still figuring out the differences of each..Hmmm..My dinner today was salad again..haha..but its good and tasty..Tommorrow ill meet up with floyd to help him search for a job and maybe after that,ill be working again on the interface…Meanwhile,i did promise to share with you a movie,a french one which i recentley watched..its a 2004 academy award nominee for best foriegn language film and winner of many international movie awards called “THE CHORUS”,Les Choristes in french.The story is a heartwarming one,its on par with some classic coming of age movies such as my girl,hearts of atlantis,stand by me and let’s not forget,cinema paradiso!..The main plot centers troubled students and a passionate/would do all for sake of others Mentor in a troubled boys school called ‘Fond De L’etang’..As the movie progress the mentor named Clément Mathieu,experiments on the undisciplined boys and turned thier interest into music day by day..until they become the disciplined..The last part was so sad yet fulfilling because in that span of time they shared together,thier passion,ups and downs..there will be also a time for parting yet all of those memories they shared will live on thier memories till they get old as in the movie’s narration…Hmmm,Well i can relate to this movie..and im sure most of you,specially sentimental ones.so go look for this movie,its a treat to watch!.haha..Here are some beautiful shots from the movie:

Just testing my blog today,it seems to have a problem..Im also revving up for all that i could do in order to make the most out of the thesis..ill get back to this when im finished editing documents..

Eager Sunday..

Hmmmm..nothing much happend today but im really satisfied,somewhat happy and very eager to do all that i could.Im only sitting here at my desk for hours,earlier im really confused figuring out the gui for the thesis,but i got the whole idea now from another program which is similar in terms of how the gui works.now im working on it till i fall i sleep i guess..On the other hand its been a while since i shared a movie related post,but i will later if i got to finish my work..I’ll update you on a movie that i watched recently and PJ’s king kong news and behind the post prodction.

Meanwhile,Im really liking this song from a band called Longview.it has been playing in my ears for an hour now,over and over!Actually thier whole album is excellent for me(songs like “Further”,”in a Dream” and “I would”).Ive got to grab the album of longview here! Born slippy.

Early today,floyd,jopet and i went to makati to try our luck in looking for a job.But,floyd is our priority because if he gets a job maybe he wont need to be migrating again in us next year,but luck slides on us..We are all born slippy i guess!haha.Though we did not earn a job in going there,it is pretty much a fun experience,and its the second time im in the building i like to work in(for its design and space plus ambiance,thats what you think and imagine when you are open on things that surrounds you) though its pretty much impossible to work there for now,ill try again next time to be there(in a few years!)..Plan is i will be also migrating (my parent’s liking) to seek a job there and probably study again..Google?Yahoo?Hmmm..I dont know yet,but i will surely try to be in one of those companies next year any position would do as long i am sitting comfortably with a kick ass pc on a desk!..I’ll also enroll probably a second course there,i dont know yet but it looks like im going for filming or computer courses at MIT?hahaha..everything is possible.I hope by that time ill be getting the right grip on myself because i was born slippy(unlucky on certain things!).Meantime,im working on the design and documents for the thesis.I really hope this will be a success and possibly result to a high grade!Then ill be happy for her and for me also this coming christmas!yeah..Tommorrow we will be at 6 underground for the fuseboxx album launch,ill update you on this later.

Also,Microsoft is launching a google-like search engine on the web. START is its name,hmmm…i tested it and its quite good.Here is a screenshot.

looking forward.

I started my day with floyd and me going to breakfast at mcdonalds(a meal but no fries).haha.Then i did go back at the house and did go to school to help my friend to add subjects(i did it alone actually,but it was ok and i would be really happy if i can help her through anything in lfie without any commitments,i guess that’s my ultimate task here on earth).After assessing the paper,i went outside the school and sat down for a while.I did my observing thing as people passed by in and out of the school,then it came to my mind that when chance in life and love would come again,i will be a better person in handling those things because many of us people dont value life,some value life in the achievements and profits they got,some just want to have a simple fullfiling life(i belong here!)haha.As minutes pass by while im sitting,i recalled some moments,bad and good,regrets and happiness with her that lingers from time to time.But i finally did realize that looking back again and again to the past is  not that helpful to me nor to her and it is much better now for both of us this way as we go on through our lives(alongside each other as friends,i guess!),Most importantly i did learn from my mistakes so from now on,ill be looking forward to life as it is,whether here or out of the country.May we share our days now in peace and be happy thinking that  we are alongside in each others lives,near or far!..Hmmm,ill be out to floyd’s house later…meantime ill eat my late dinner!

The best it can be.

Earlier this evening,I was busy with the documents,creating flash designs and a one of a kind layout for the program.My idea is based on many other programs which i tried and used in the past and recently.Most of them are the graphically interfaced ones.Hmmm.Im still not finished in my conceptual design but maybe i’ll continue it tommorrow.these are time consuming works but not that hard and very satisfying if they are done already..By this week i will be able to do 2 or 3 designs.On the other hand,im planning to buy kits(scale models) from a hobby shop this coming weekend ill be able to take a few of them depending on the prices of each nowadays..I’ll just finish a bit of the flash part and im off to sleep.I have to wake up early for my breakfast and continue working on these things that have to be done and hope it will be a success with my total support and dedication and her hard work,strength and will to make things the best it can be..I’m smelling a happy Christmas celebration!haha!

Once you pop,You can’t Stop!

Well,Straight from the box and dusts..Here are some remaining scale models of mine which i handmade built/assemble,painted and accessorize.While i was looking at it,it came to my mind that maybe ill continue this now,many clubs are sporting this kind of activities..there are also few crews which i also handpainted i call them now “Last men standing” haha..Because i have so many of them few years back complete with buildings,houses and the ground itself which i made from art materials myself such as plywood for the base,felt paper and you know the scotchbrite?(i did paint in splattered brown to make a surface which will look like grass and mud together with the scale models)haha and different paint colors and clay,wires etc,footprints,water effects,even lights powered by batteries.I have a whole diorama and have so many ideas back then..now im planning to enter this hobby again!haha.Hobbies like these can be described as this.”Once you pop,you cant stop!” haha.It may subside but once you have a chance again it will attract you again and ask you to come back for more!Hmmm..its like love?hahaha.LOL!I have also an unassembled model,an M1a1 abrams tank of us army.I bought it reasonably at 575php about 3 years back,now its price is double at hobby shops!haha..I’ll assemble it and test my prowess(mojo!) for assembling and crafting again..haha..usually it takes me 2-3 hours to build a model carefully,and depending on the numbe of parts!plus painting is about 1-2 hours if you are satisfied with your work..haha..This hobby is a real test of your skills and patience(hmm i guess thats why i do have a lot of patience)!luckily i did start early on this hobby when i was just a kid so it wont be hard to go back..Hmmm,paints,adhesives,the smell of newly purchased box of a model..Here i come again!haha.

time to the max!

Yesterday and earlier i was with my friends again at floyd’s house.Now im finishing the documents for the thesis and it will be ready by monday..I hope it will be smooth to the teacher’s eyes.haha.If not then it will have to be a revision.hmmm,im now learning to  spend my time not that wisely but to the extent that im also happy in a way.haha.My friend said that time is a great factor for easing things out,maybe through the time i will give to her,she might think over the matters and specially concentrate on her studies of course.All i really want this christmas is for us to finally iron out things and have that peace of mind that eventhough we had fights,we left each other in a nice way.im really hoping for that!though the clock will tick hundreds of thousand times before that time will come.haha.Im really praying for her everyday..Earlier yesterday,I downloaded a program from microsoft called “MAX”.It is a program for sharing and organizing photos based on the new WINFX engine.WINFX is required to run MAX..I think this will be a standard program on the upcoming windows vista(which is annouced to have 7 versions!) together with the photo editing tool “Acrylic” which is like a photoshop of microsoft now on its beta 2(August 2005 ctp) which i downloaded too..Here are some screenshots of max and the updated acrylic..Microsot also relased some publicity screenshots of thier latest preview of office 12,also will be released by next year,though  i think openoffice is much nicer office suite!and best of all its free to download here.I have thier beta 2 and stable versions.In the meantime,i am cleaning my room(hmmm..not that clean all the way!)haha..I found some old stuffs,particularly my scale models,ill show them to you!!

going missing.

It’s gloomy and rainy today.i feel like im going missing.haha.Last night i was in floyd’s house..We got up at about past 10 am..had a breakfast with his mom and then he dropped me and patrick at visayas ave..After 10 minutes,im right here where i am in now.haha..I took a shower(cold)haha.Then i turned on my pc.Im currently searching for a online electronics shop that can deliver worldwide with payment methods of COD or bank transfer..Hmmm..J&R,the largest electronics shop in ny,near my cousins.dont have that but they do ship worldwide..My lunch for today is tuna and some vegetables.haha.Yesterday i did some window shopping before meeting up with floyd at the mall,i was suprised to see the ipod nano at the apple store where i inquired when will be the release of nano here,then the lady pointed at the window and there it is!The price for the 2gb model is 12,990 and 15,990 for the 4gb model,available in both white and black..I do have money but im not spending it now for that,maybe after a month ill buy one of those.The lady is convincing me to buy when i was there but i said to her ill try next time and said thanks for her assistance..then after a while i did meet floyd in the arcade which he was addicted to recently when he was in us naturally right after he came back here,he is itching to try one of those “initial d” arcades here.I have tried it also,and im getting addicted to it.After consuming the tokens we ride to his home,do internet with his laptop and watched Austin powers last night.haha..Probably tomorrow ill go to tower records and buy some new cds or new reading materials.haha..Time to eat my tuna,its getting cold!Lunch @ merienda time.haha

Hmmm..im concentrating now on how to improve and device our documents in such a way that it is easy to explain..though it’s a bit hard,im gonna do it..with extras.haha..im listening to maximo park right now.great band if you want to dance and rock at the same time..haha.like franz ferdinand’s sound…ill be able to update my blog with some of my stuffs next time..

life is peachy??

Life really is challenging sometimes..But we have to stand for what we feel is right.Though reality,most of the time,Hurts..So im leaving this all to you.It’s time for you to weigh,think and feel the deepest feelings..It’s Your decision.Whatever it is,ill accept it with no anger or anything.You know who you are.

Here is my statement for you:

The tiny bit of eternity i spent with you is the greatest treasure of my life.Ive been so happy with you those years as i remember it.I think thats ok right?Though you never express your feelings well and i too,i hope you too had a great time with me in those years.i have no regrets being all that to you,though i have some on the mistakes i committed.I hope there is no hate or anger in your heart and mind now and may you understand me very well.I’ll continue to be at your side till i have no strength left in my body, I promise you that. I’ll Eat this Ipod!Bon Apetit!

Today,apple annoucned a new Ipod(and damn,i want to have one!)Together with apple’s release of Itunes 5.0 and quictime 7.0 for windows,The Ipod Nano(nano cause i guess its tiny) features 2 colors,white and black(i want the black one,its like a chocolate bar!love to eat it,im a techy hannibal lecter i guess if i do it!)haha..It will also be available in a 4gb($249) and a 2gb($199) capacities which is by the way flash based ones not hard drive based so we can expect totally skip free playback!.I guess many potential buyers will opt for the 4gb one,like me because the price gap is not that mmuch..I’ll save up for this,probably it will reach our shores by late october or early november!..Other features include a colored lcd(1.5″) and i think it supports photos..a 14 hour battery life(an improvement)..here are some shots:

My favorite movie and book character is back!Hannibal Lecter will be back for a movie,it is about his early life and how he bacame the man we knew(if you like Thomas Hariss’novels about him and seen the movies,you will know.) The Lecter Variantions is the tentative title of the movie which follows lecters character from childhood in lithuana right up to his moving in america.It is based also on one of the books of Harris in the lecter series called “Behind the Mask”,Directing will be done by Peter Webber(girl with the pearl earring)and producing will be by Dino De laurentis which very known to be much linked to The lecter series..He Loves it very much!The Starring role is not clear and confirmed yet though probably it will be french actor Gaspard Ulliel(the guy in A ver long engagement),other screened for the role are Macauley Culkin and Hayden Christensen..Ill update you in this movie very soon!So Those who are interested in this story,please wait for the developments,ill scoop it all out for you!Or of you cant wait,ill carve and eat your heart while you are feeling the pain!hahaha..Joke!

Ulliel..I guess he can do the role quite well based on his performance in Juenet’s A very long engagement.

survival and arrival.

Nothing much happend today,i stayed at home then went to supermarket with my mom to buy groceries..I guess i can survive this kind of life hoping that someday ill live happily with my friends,though i really have to push hard for that..

Tommorrow,we will fetch floyd at the airport by 10pm(his arrival).His mom let us use thier car and we’ll be the one to fetch him..Yeah..Its music time again,plus ill have again a companion when im alone!haha.See you tommorrow Floyd!

Life awaits us..

I did go to ortigas today.First time since i got sick.haha.I did withdrew my money from a bank at megamall(my few last bucks!haha).Then i ate green salad and drinked iced tea from coffee republic(if i remember that right).As i was walking after my meal,i was wondering of so many things..I really have to have a job that suits me even if that job would require me for 16 hours a day.haha.(Cargador?!haha).Im eyeing for a computer job or i hope we could put up our own computer services bla bla with my friends.The Start of our classes is by next week but probably ill be a late enrollee(our school is the best in terms of late enrollees!)..I did some scouting of usual music cds and books..but i only took home a book which is in 20% off corner of powerbooks..Im gonna read it again later before i sleep..After purchasing the book i remember that i need a adaptor for my headphone to work on a 3.5mm jack,so i bought one from ace hardware..past 3 pm i walked out the mall to reach the mrt station(its hot)..20 minutes after i was on the north avenue station.I did walk again to reach sm north(my house is near it).Then a thought came to my mind I would not bother anything that will come across my way and say anything about me because they dont know me very well,except for one person i guess(*****)She’s the one that knows it all,so if she got mad or anything i would understand and i guess she understands me to though it takes time because of my freaking complex life(its really hard to understand).But i want now to have a simple one.Im dedicating and devoting my life now to my friends and her,because someday when im dead they will only be the one to know that i ever existed and had shared my life with them.i want to experience all that life has to offer till i die and proudly say to myself when im a ghost(if thats true),”It has been a challenging one,but i passed it” So Life,bring it on.I have experienced enough of the grandness of life in my early years in this world,i also experienced most of the pain & weakness my body has to offer..and most importantly im a pain-in-the-*ss in my family.(haha!)I really want just a simple life now so i could live in peace with my friends..have a little house then im contented..I really want to share my life and love with someone,but its up to her..i dont have much hopes now though i guess whatever happens she will still be important to me.(like a sister)..When i arrived at sm north i decided not to go home yet,so i took a jeep going to project 6.I walked again till i reach one place there that i could stay for a while.near the i-net cafe..While Walking my player did play a song that i did love the very first time i ever heard it..It was written by one of my favorite artist(bowie) with a new one(walker).In fact it’s the one playing here in my blog!The song is actually a sad one though its upbeat..A breaking of the bonds thing i suppose..But it also speaks of how sorry one is and the things that he will try to not to have those mistakes again(i really was affected by this song!)..With that sound playing through my ears and culminating the words in my mind,It did occur to me that so many things happen to our lives,like mine.This life is full of chances and intertwined connection thats only waiting for us.I admit i have ignored so many chances and commit many mistakes but this time im really trying hard to straighten and pave a way for my life..I hope you understand,I dont need no pity for all these things,nor critisizing..A little bit of understanding is the ingredient of knowing a person well inside and out..Back to the walking,i stopped at a coffee shop there at congressional avenue.i ordered an iced tea and 2 cookies..I sat then i started reading the book called “Bee season”(im very lucky to pick it up on a sale!) i would not tell the story but its about a family and things surrounding it.Few months from now it will be on theaters or early next year here(starring GERE & BINOCHE).I stayed up to past 7 at the low lighted coffee shop.Then i got a cab to go where i am now..a bit tired though..I need to refresh..

I’m Surfing the net right now after my stew lunch.then i did take a shower,afterwhich it leaded me here in my computer desk!hehe.I Came across the IFA website.IFA is a tech show/trade fair held every year,one of the largest shows if not the largest.(comparable to CEBIT and the IT show in taiwan-i forgot the name).

Here are some of interesting developments on the tech world(for me):

Apple will sport thier next generation of ipod minis with flash memories(samsung flash chips) rather than a hard drive plus a much smaller but higher resolution colored lcd display.For me its a better ipod!I tested one ipod mini(r-yan’s,up till now).It is great aesthetically with the aluminum external housing and the click wheel navigation and the oh so popular white earphones and belt clip.But problem is it skips a little bit eventhough it has a built in antiskip specially when you are on a bumpy road or just fooling around while listening to your music,so the flash drive will be much more better and also cheaper.The colored lcd is an additional plus to attract new and old ipod buyers though many players now out there in the market sports colored lcds with much more cheaper prices than this apple counterpart..But all in all,apple would probably convince me to buy this next generation ipod minis(if i have the money when it will come out!The price is not that high,though competition challenges apple to lower thier prices!). Read on for the technical elaboration:

The new iPod mini, which will probably be introduced at Apple Expo Paris on September 20, will be available in three capacities: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. The iPod mini will sport dual NAND flash memory chips to achieve those higher capacities, and Apple has already locked in for the rest of the year a majority of Samsung’s new 4GB flash modules.

To further the size savings, the new iPod mini will sport a color screen that’s slightly smaller than the current version. Sources say the screen will measure 1.467 inches, down from 1.67 inches, but will feature a higher resolution: 176 x 132, up from 138 x 110, as Think Secret reported in February. It’s likely, while uncertain, that the iPod mini’s scroll wheel will also see a small reduction in size.

Pricing is not entirely clear, but the new 4GB and 6GB models may remain priced at $199 and $249, respectively, while the 8GB iPod mini could cost as much as $299. At that price the 8GB iPod mini would cost as much as a 20GB iPod, but Apple reportedly is not worried that equivalent pricing will affect sales of the iPod mini as sales of the full-size iPods have lagged far behind iPod minis in recent quarters.

                                 
Another one is the world’s first foldable display.The Philips’ prototype sports a grayscale display that is power friendly(battery will last up to 30 hours) it is nothing much of a buzz now.but wait till it will be used on popular electronic brands and gadgets.We can expect a full color version of this in a few years!

Im currently listening to SATI’s Flowerfish( i said i would review it a  couple of weeks back but i didnt have the time to examine the whole variety of songs in the great eclectic album),which is already out in tower records.(sign of success!)

From start to finish,the album really sounded original and lyrics are uncomparable too.though there are the whiffs of 80’s and some influences in thier songs they have mixed it to invent thier own sound,The SATI way!haha.Orven’s voice was like a balancer of the light and not so heavy tunes of the songs..While the rest of the band did play thier instruments in a classy indie style way.Im playing thier cd together with thier manipulator album,but i play them on random because i dont know where to start thier album,Every song is good as the others!When im listening to thier songs like “Maude”,”Quick to panic”,”Happenstance” and “Clever as you” I remember some of my uk indie band cds..They are comparable to that or even surpass the performance of such like maximo park,kaiser chiefs,the departure,straylight run and some others..But hey,its a pinoy indie band! I’m really proud of them.thier music is an inspiration for the people and striving indie bands like us.haha.I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of mainstream music and openeared persons..Buy the original please!They make music for us,show them some consolation in buying thier orig cds.I garantee it’s worth every peso!

If im lucky enough.

Yesterday..We are with Jon to accompany him while he is reviewing for his midterm exams in a coffee shop.yeah!We did some discussions there and eat,and i think we are the loudest voices in that section of the shop on that time up about till past 9pm.haha.(Its a closed smoking area,so no disturbance outside that).At about past 9,jon went to his school/hospital for his 10pm-5am duty.We(jopet,me,loyd) got a cab to go filinvest..We did go to his house and suddenly he offered us having dinner.(Fine dining.haha) So we ate some spare ribs though i ate more of the pansit full of vegetables so i could balance the fat and fiber.haha..After that,we did go to chi’s place..I did fix his pc though it took a while(fixing started at about past 11 till i get it fixed and right at 630am),I was so keen to get it fixed so i didnt stop until i fixed it.There is a problem with the installation in his original hard drive so it keeps on hanging after copying the setup files.but hey,im experienced in this field,i got it fixed!.(praising myself!)hahaha..I did not sleep so when i came home after breakfast i did a morning shower and slept till 7 this evening!haha.Dinner time to be exact!My dinner earlier was ceasar salad and a grilled burger pattie..hmmm..quite great!Right now im downloading some songs and reading about system development and digital photography.Plus i’m fulling up the capacity of R-yan’s pink ipod.from rock,metal to jazz,reggae and everything in between!haha.Good thing R-yan is open and have real/natural knowledge in music like his one week shy arriving brother,floyd from US(Tagal mo!handa na banner namin!haha).Ive got so many music here in my room though i havent got time to rip it or copy it to my hard drive.Though ill be able to put it in when i upgrade my pc(i will buy about 2 sata hd’s if i got the cash!)haha..I even illustrated my dream pc last week when im not doing anything that time..Yeah..I’ll listen to ska-jazz music a bit later till i fall asleep..sigh* and If im lucky enough,ill dream about a happy memories future,after all these past storms in my little known life..though i still weep sometimes,having known that i am also the cause of my failures and the pain of others,specially concerning the 4 letter word thing.haha..

9th month.

Later,I will be with my friends.Earlier i wasnt so sure if  i would go because it rained..now sun is shining..I hope ill start my month right..though i was scolded by my mom yesterday.haha..I cant argue no more,just a waste of time..I’ll update you later!Off i go then..
