SM=Super Monopoly! : )

We were at the opening of one of the asia’s largest and the country’s largest mall,The SM Mall of Asia.Had the chance to take some photos of this achievement in our infrastructure and business history..SM should now stand for Sy’s Super Monopoly prime holdings.Calling the Ayalas and Gokongweis,can you counter the monopoly of sy?.lol.Also doing a research of who are involved in the construction(locaL contractors) of this architechtural wonder,gonna ask them how much is thier kickback!hahahaha..

Some Facts you cant read on newspapers:

-Real target people of this mall are the ones who just came from and will go to the airport..SM can now say “Duty free what?”..lol. 

-Originally it should be opening last november 2005 though some cracks were found on its foundations and pillars..haha. I hope the months delayed is really worth it.

-The IMAX theather will have you blown away with great cinema experience.Besides the awesome gigantic screen and surround sound,the seats also feature a secret,you have to find it out for yourself! : ).SM had a consortium with San Miguel/Coca-Cola to put the country’s first and only imax.Though movies(all kinds) that will be shown here will have cuts because of the limitations of an imax projector(specifically the bulb) that can only withstand 120 minutes of continous operation.That’s why they never played epic movies in imax.

-The mall is located in an artificial land..So dont be suprised,someday when an earthquake comes it could split up with pasay city and be called “SM island” hahaha.(just my sadistic theory!lol)

Thier tagline “We got it all for you” lives up to itself.So if you have time do come here with friends or family it will be a long enjoyable walk.Special weekly activities and programs will be regular there.

I do really love the architechture and the sheer size of it! So here are the photos…
